The SUHI Crafts Story
Where Sri Lankan heritage meets the art of reading

Born from a Love of Art and Heritage
SUHI Crafts was founded with a single, powerful belief: that the rich artistic heritage of Sri Lanka deserves to be shared with the world. Our journey began when we discovered the stunning Sinhala floral and vine motifs that have adorned Sri Lankan architecture, textiles, and art for centuries.
We asked ourselves — how could we bring this beauty into the hands of book lovers, students, and culture enthusiasts across the globe? The answer was as elegant as the patterns themselves: a bookmark. A simple, functional object transformed into a work of art.
Today, every bookmark we create is a labour of love. Each piece is hand-painted by skilled Sri Lankan craftspeople who have grown up surrounded by this artistic tradition — people who understand that every stroke carries the weight of centuries.
